The Cancer Research Center of Lyon (CRCL) is pleased to announce that its 4th International Cancer Symposium / Cancer Research Center of Lyon will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of October in the Convention Center of Lyon, France.

This edition should not fall short of its predecessors, since top-ranking internationally renowned researchers, including one of the 2009 Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry, Pr. Ada Yonath, as well as F de Sauvage, JE Visvader, RA Weinberg, and SW Lowe, have already confirmed their attendance. Through the highly diversified presentations of these excellent researchers, the meeting will address crucial issues from both a cognitive and a clinical application standpoint.

Furthermore, this extended edition will last three days and will be held for the first time alongside the “Gilles Thomas” Symposium, to commemorate this exceptional researcher, who had embraced the Lyon culture from 2009 to 2014. Gilles Thomas, who was Head of a CRCL Department, created the bioinformatics platform of the “Synergie Lyon Cancer Foundation”. His contributions to the field of Cancer Genetics were acknowledged worldwide.

The International Cancer Symposium of the CRCL is an excellent opportunity to promote exchanges and discussions. All of the participants will be given the opportunity to present their work, either during the poster sessions or as an oral presentation, if selected by our scientific committee.
We look forward to receiving your scientific contributions and hope to see you in Lyon in October 2019!
