Announcement Robert Wenner Award 2012

The Robert Wenner Award recognizes excellence in cancer research with a prize sum of 100 000 francs deriving from the legacy of the late gynecologist from Basel, Robert Wenner. Cancer related research work from any area (basic, clinical, epidemiological, psychosocial research, etc.) can be submitted. Candidates for the award will be considered by the Scientific Committee of renowned European cancer leaders.

Eligibility

Applicants under the age of 45 are eligible to apply. Research work carried out by Swiss citizens abroad or by non-Swiss applicants, who have carried out a majority of their work in Switzerland, will also be considered.

Application

The complete application must be submitted online on or before 30 June 2012. The Grant Application Portal (GAP) provides guidance through the application procedure.

A recommendation letter from the head of the candidate’s research initiation stating motivation for nomination
Curriculum Vitae
Published work and/or manuscripts (maximum of 10)

A printed and signed copy of the online generated application form including all of the attached documents must be sent to the address below on before 3 July 2012.
